Raven see's vision of a comeback

Disney has finally decided to give Raven-Symoné a spin-off show about her two children Nia and Booker.

The show will be following Raven, who was recently divorced, and her two pre-teen children, one who inherits Raven’s ability to see into the future.

“Raven’s brilliant style of fearless comedy was a driving force for Disney Channel’s success around the world.

Her performance in That’s So Raven is timeless,” said Disney Channels Worldwide executive vice president of original programming Adam Bonnett in a statement when the news was announced.

Nia, Raven Baxter’s bold and confident daughter shares her mother’s powers to see visions of the future, which is about to change her world, considering she’s about to start middle school.

Booker is Nia’s little brother and he is described to be an “unapologetic mama’s boy”. It is also said that once he’s aware of a situation, Booker will turn the tables and stand up for himself.

The series will also reunite Raven and her best friend Chelsea Daniels (Anneliese van der Pol).

Chelsea is written as being divorced and raising her son Levi, who is “self-serving, arrogant and never afraid to do a little manipulation to get his way”.

The pilot will be featuring Chelsea and her son moving in with Raven and her two kids.

The spin-off will not be featuring Orlando Brown, however, his character has been re-casted and now Youtube star Alonzo Lerone will be playing Eddie Thomas.

“I think we could go either way, Boy Meets World was fantastic and I loved it, I watched every episode, with all the drama and social media wars between Raven and Orlando Brown, it might backfire sooner or later,” junior Cherise Carter, said.

Production on the show is currently happening and should be released in late 2017.
